ALTUS

The Altus cancer center will be located just across the street from Jackson County Memorial Hospital and will open it’s doors in September 2008. The center will provide advanced cancer care with enhanced state-of-the-art technology and a multidisciplinary team approach. Following diagnosis and the development of a treatment plan, chemotherapy nurses and radiation therapists on staff will provide treatment according to the directions of the patient’s physician.

LAWTON

Southwest Oklahoma Cancer Center at Lawton will open in 2010. The main cancer facility will be located in LAWTON on the campus of Comanche County Memorial Hospital. Patients will visit this center initially to receive treatment plans and simulation for radiation. They will then return to their own community for daily treatments.

DUNCAN

The DUNCAN cancer center will be a 9,000 square foot facility located just south of Duncan Regional Hospital and will open its doors to patients in September 2008. The center will offer both radiation therapy and chemotherapy and will be equipped with a linear accelerator to deliver the precise levels of radiation necessary for each patient’s treatment plan. The facility will also have pharmacy and outpatient laboratory services available.

Two chemotherapy rooms will be available so patients may rest in comfort while receiving treatments, all treatments will be administered under the watchful eye of an oncologist. The facility staff will also include highly trained chemotherapy nurses and radiation therapists.
